Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has expressed grave concern over the BJP and RSS Hindutva agenda, aimed at destroying Kashmiris’ identity and undermine their struggle for self-determination.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas stated that the Modi regime is pursuing the RSS’s Hindutva agenda, aiming to alter the territory’s majority character. He called on Kashmiris to unite against these intentions, citing the legacy of spiritual leaders like Mir Syed Ali Hamdani and Sheikh Nooruddin Noorani.<\/p>\n

The APHC condemned the settlement of non-locals in the region, illegal detention of Hurriyat leaders, and the BJP government’s actions on August 5, 2019, which aimed to strip Kashmiris of their identity.<\/p>\n

The group urged the international community to pressure India to preserve Kashmiri identity and implement UN resolutions on Kashmir.<\/p>\n

The APHC also expressed solidarity with jailed Hurriyat leader Muhammad Yasin Butt, who was admitted to and operated on at the Soura Institute of Medical Sciences in Srinagar.The jailed leader was bought from Kothbalwal Jail Jammu to Srinagar due to his deteriorating health.<\/p>\n
