New Delhi: A security scare unfolded at the Delhi Legislative Assembly when a masked driver crashed a Tata Sierra SUV through Gate No. 2, commonly referred to as the VVIP gate, around 2 pm.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, the driver, wearing a mask, placed a flower bouquet near Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta’s office before fleeing the premises. The police swiftly responded, arresting three individuals, including the driver, in North Delhi. The vehicle’s Uttar Pradesh registration number has been traced, and authorities are investigating the incident as a potential security breach.<\/p>\n

The incident has raised concerns, especially since the Assembly received bomb threats during the recently concluded Budget session. A bomb disposal squad and forensic experts were called to the scene to examine the bouquet and secure the area.<\/p>\n
