Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, National Conference president Farooq Abdullah has welcomed the de-escalation of tensions in West Asia, acknowledging the importance of mediation efforts and calling for lasting peace across the world.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, speaking to reporters in Srinagar, Farooq Abdullah expessed relief over the ceasefire, stating, \u201cThank God the war has stopped. I hope it remains stopped in the future as well, peace prevails in the world and we all benefit from it.\u201d<\/p>\n
