Srinagar: The whereabouts of a missing Kashmiri youth in Dubai have raised concerns in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) over his safety.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, civil society members in Srinagar expressed grave concern over the silence of the IIOJK authorities regarding the disappearance of Asif Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Butpora Dialgam area of in Islamabad district, who last contacted his family on March 29.<\/p>\n
The family has not heard from him since then, causing anxiety and distress among relatives who are awaiting any update regarding his whereabouts and wellbeing.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the All India Medical Students Association (AIMSA) has appealed to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the Indian Embassy in Dubai to urgently intervene in tracing the missing youth from Kashmir, raising concerns about his safety.<\/p>\n
Dr. Mohammad Momin Khan, National Vice President of AIMSA, said the matter requires immediate diplomatic attention and coordinated efforts between authorities to verify his status, establish contact, and utilize all available channels to locate him.<\/p>\n
AIMSA has also requested the Indian Embassy in Dubai to coordinate actively with local agencies and closely monitor the situation.<\/p>\n
\u201cA family is living in pain and uncertainty. We sincerely hope the concerned authorities will act swiftly and help reunite him with his loved ones,\u201d Dr. Khan said.<\/p>\n
