Jammu: At least eighteen people were injured, four of them critically, in a road accident in Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, the accident occurred when a tempo traveller bearing registration number JK02AG-5946 lost control and plunged into roadside fields at Tralla near Crusher Morh on the Darhal\u2013Rajouri road.<\/p>\n

All passengers onboard sustained injuries. The injured were immediately shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Associated Hospital Rajouri for treatment.<\/p>\n

Doctors confirmed that four are in critical condition and have been shifted to a specialised ward for advanced medical care. The hospital administration has put its emergency department on high alert to ensure prompt treatment.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a four-month-old infant, Mohammad Usman, died while two women were rescued after they slipped into a fast-flowing riverlet while crossing a makeshift wooden bridge in Mughal Maidan area of Kishtwar district. According to reports and locals, the women along with the infant were attempting to cross the riverlet using a temporary bridge made from a large tree trunk when they lost balance and fell into the water.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
