{"id":198860,"date":"2026-04-22T18:43:20","date_gmt":"2026-04-22T13:43:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kmsnews.org\/kms\/?p=198860"},"modified":"2026-04-22T18:45:32","modified_gmt":"2026-04-22T13:45:32","slug":"india-failed-to-provide-evidence-on-pahalgam-even-after-a-year-attaullah-tarar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kmsnews.org\/kms\/2026\/04\/22\/india-failed-to-provide-evidence-on-pahalgam-even-after-a-year-attaullah-tarar.html","title":{"rendered":"India failed to provide evidence on Pahalgam even after a year: Attaullah Tarar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad: Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has said that even a year on, India has failed to provide evidence for its allegations against Pakistan regarding the Pahalgam false flag operation.<\/p>\n<p>According to Kashmir Media Service, in a televised statement issued on the anniversary of the attack, Attaullah Tarar said, \u201cTo this day, India has not presented any solid evidence or proof regarding the Pahalgam incident, nor has it offered satisfactory explanations.\u201d He said the Pahalgam incident \u201creflects hollow thinking, illogical reasoning, false ego, arrogance and greed\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He maintained that \u201cfalse flag operations have been part of India\u2019s history,\u201d and described the handling of the Pahalgam incident as \u201ccrude.\u201d He said India did not respond positively when Pakistan offered an \u201cindependent and impartial investigation,\u201d adding that \u201cIndia\u2019s refusal to hold an inquiry is proof that the Pahalgam incident was a false flag operation\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The minister questioned how the first information report (FIR) of the case was registered within \u201c10 minutes of the incident\u201d and noted that think tanks had raised questions about there being \u201cno proper security\u201d at the site. \u201cWithout evidence, without investigation and without proper inquiry, the blame was immediately placed on Pakistan,\u201d he said, adding that \u201cbaseless and fabricated propaganda\u201d becomes very difficult to sell. \u201cEven today, the world continues to ask questions and India has no answers to give,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIndia\u2019s issue is that it presents its internal matters as external ones and its external matters as internal. A clear example of this is terrorism,\u201d Tarar said. He added, \u201cTerrorism is India\u2019s internal issue, yet it portrays it as an external problem. Similarly, the Kashmir issue is an international issue but India presents it as an internal one.\u201d The minister slammed the ugly face of Indian media for spreading propaganda. He asserted that India\u2019s institutions have been politicised and suppress minorities.<\/p>\n<p>Tarar highlighted that India had been found involved in transnational terrorism, including the killings of Sikh leaders abroad. \u201cSo terrorism is part of India\u2019s state policy and they continue to follow it,\u201d he added. He reiterated that New Delhi was involved in terrorism on Pakistani soil, adding that the country had evidence for it that is periodically shared with the international community.<\/p>\n<p>He warned that \u201cany misadventure of any kind will be met with a firm, decisive and swift response,\u201d reaffirming Pakistan\u2019s commitment to defend its sovereignty.<\/p>\n<p>The minister contended that due to its policies, India was facing global isolation, while Pakistan was moving forward on its mission of peace.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad: Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has said that even a year on, India has failed to provide evidence for its allegations against Pakistan regarding the Pahalgam false flag operation.
