Islamabad: A report by German broadcaster, Deutsche Welle (DW), has said that even after a year of the false flag operation in Pahalgam area of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, India has not succeeded in its nefarious campaign to isolate Pakistan on the global stage, but Pakistan has emerged as an effective mediator in major global disputes.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, the DW report said that after the death of 26 tourists in a false flag operation in Pahalgam in April last year, India accused Pakistan of state-sponsored terrorism, however, Pakistan strongly rejected these allegations and offered cooperation in a transparent investigation into the incident.<\/p>\n
Despite this, India launched Operation Sindoor and carried out unprovoked attacks on Pakistan, bringing the two nuclear-armed neighbours to the brink of war.<\/p>\n
According to the report, the Modi government sent its delegations to 32 countries to isolate Pakistan diplomatically. Pakistan also sent its parliamentary delegations to different countries to inform the world about its position and expose India\u2019s aggressive and expansionist ambitions.<\/p>\n
Pakistan has made its diplomatic strategy more effective by establishing close ties with the administration of US President Donald Trump, which is yielding positive results.<\/p>\n
According to Elizabeth Thralkid, Director of the South Asia Programme at the Stimson Center, Pakistan has understood well what the US administration wants and has made diplomacy effective by building personal relationships at the level of civil and military leadership.<\/p>\n
The report said Pakistan is currently playing an important role in mediating a ceasefire between the US and Iran and is receiving praise from both countries.<\/p>\n
It further said that Pakistan\u2019s strong relations with China and the US, in addition to Saudi Arabia and Iran, have made it a natural mediator, while India appears to have failed miserably in proving itself as a leader in the global community.<\/p>\n
According to observers, Pakistan\u2019s active diplomacy can prove beneficial not only for the world but also for India itself.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
