Washington: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as its \u201cbest representative,\u201d saying that he is spreading the organisation\u2019s ideas through governance in his own style.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, the remarks were made by RSS general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale during an address in Washington, where he is on a tour engaging with academics and members of the Indian diaspora. \u201cHe is doing it in his own way,\u201d Hosabale said, adding that while Modi does not always use the same language as the RSS, many of his initiatives reflect similar thinking.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe may not express the same words. For example, he said \u2018Ek Ped Maa ke Naam\u2019. We have said plant a tree,\u201d he said. He added that such differences were only in expression, not in intent, and described Modi as a \u201cSwayamsevak\u201d whose approach naturally aligns with the organisation\u2019s philosophy. Hosabale said, \u201cMany government programs reflect RSS thinking. So being a Swayamsevak, these things come naturally to the Prime Minister.\u201d He pointed to initiatives like \u201cAtmanirbhar Bharat\u201d and the \u201cPanch Pran\u201d outlined by Modi in his Independence Day speech in 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
