{"id":199463,"date":"2026-05-02T18:29:04","date_gmt":"2026-05-02T13:29:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kmsnews.org\/kms\/?p=199463"},"modified":"2026-05-02T18:29:04","modified_gmt":"2026-05-02T13:29:04","slug":"three-indian-district-reserve-guard-personnel-killed-in-kanker-ied-blast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kmsnews.org\/kms\/2026\/05\/02\/three-indian-district-reserve-guard-personnel-killed-in-kanker-ied-blast.html","title":{"rendered":"Three Indian District Reserve Guard personnel killed In Kanker IED blast"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-171076\" src=\"https:\/\/kmsnews.org\/kms\/assests\/2025\/03\/police-line-dont-cross-dead.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"779\" height=\"440\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Kanker: Three personnel of the Indian District Reserve Guard (DRG) were killed when an improvised explosive device (IED), planted earlier by Maoists, detonated during a demining operation in Kanker district of Chhattisgarh today.<\/p>\n<p>According to Kashmir Media Service, police officials said the incident occurred after a security team was deployed in the border areas of Kanker and Narayanpur districts to carry out demining, area domination and search operations.<\/p>\n<p>According to the police, the blast took place in a forested area under the jurisdiction of Chhote Bethiya police station, adjoining Narayanpur district, where a DRG unit was engaged in locating and defusing IEDs suspected to have been planted by Maoists in the past.<\/p>\n<p>During the operation, four members of the Kanker DRG sustained injuries after being caught in the explosion.
