Makkah: Indian Haj pilgrims, staying in the Azizia area of Makkah, are grappling with serious concerns over substandard accommodation, including severe overcrowding and unhygienic conditions.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, the issue gained prominence after Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh shared a video on X, highlighting the deplorable state of Building No. 0165, Asaf Al Qureshi hostel.<\/p>\n

The video reveals stagnant wastewater pooling inside rooms, water leaking from bathrooms into living areas, dirty toilet facilities, and cramped spaces. Pilgrims, many of them elderly, are seen complaining that despite paying the required fees, they were not informed about such conditions.<\/p>\n

Frustrated devotees have demanded immediate relocation to better facilities or the return of their passports, stating that the situation is hindering their ability to visit the Haram for prayers.<\/p>\n
