Delhi: In a tragic incident, a teenager Muslim was stabbed to death in Bharatiya Janata Party-ruled New Delhi capital state.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, the 16-year-old Muslim boy Ayaan Saifi, was stabbed to death on religious grounds in Trilokpuri, East Delhi of state.<\/p>\n
According to the family, Ayaan was playing with a friend in a park when eight to ten men, aged around 30-35 years, surrounded and attacked him. \u201cThey weren\u2019t boys. They were big, heavily built men\u2026 The child was just 16,\u201d relatives told reporters. The attackers chased the teenager before stabbing him repeatedly in the back, stomach, legs, and injuring his hand severely.<\/p>\n
They killed him over someone else\u2019s issue,\u201d a relative said. Ayaan was rushed to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital and later referred to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) due to critical injuries.<\/p>\n
The family stated that police recorded his statement on video while he was briefly conscious.<\/p>\n
The relatives further said that Ayaan had received prior threats and faced communal slurs like \u201cmusalla\u201d and \u201ckatua,\u201d leading him to file police complaints. However, they said no effective action was taken by authorities despite these warnings.<\/p>\n
The family said the assault was premeditated and stemmed from a prior dispute involving a local person named \u201cVakil,\u201d despite Ayaan having no direct involvement. \u201cHe had no enmity with anyone.<\/p>\n
Ayaan\u2019s mother, Meena, broke down while demanding justice and accused the administration of delays. She referenced the March murder of Tarun in Uttam Nagar during a Holi clash, urging similar strong action: \u201cBurn their houses like in Uttam Nagar\u2026 When Tarun was killed, bulldozers were used.<\/p>\n
The incident has sparked outrage, with the family insisting the killing was targeted due to religious identity.<\/p>\n
