Muzaffarabad: In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Convener of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC-AJK chapter), Ghulam Muhammad Safi, participated in an important high-level meeting of the Muttahida Yakjehti Council in Muzaffarabad, where participants discussed key national, regional and international issues, with a special focus on the Kashmir dispute.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, addressing the meeting, Safi described \u201cMarka-e-Haq\u201d not merely as a military success but as a comprehensive national strategy reflecting a blend of military capability, political wisdom and effective diplomacy. He said the development demonstrates that Pakistan is not only strong in defence but is also playing a responsible role in promoting peace and stability in the region.<\/p>\n
He paid tribute to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for his leadership, stating that under his command Pakistan has emerged as a strong and dignified force on the global stage. He added that the armed forces, through professionalism and strategic planning, have effectively countered hostile designs, enhancing the country\u2019s defence capability and prestige.<\/p>\n
Safi said the development sends a clear message that Pakistan will not compromise on its sovereignty, security or principled stance. He also appreciated the diplomatic efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, noting that Pakistan\u2019s political leadership has effectively highlighted the Kashmir issue at international forums and exposed India\u2019s unilateral actions.<\/p>\n
Highlighting the situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Safi said India continues to commit serious human rights violations and is attempting to alter the demographic composition of the territory through systematic measures. He urged the international community to ensure implementation of United Nations resolutions and to support the Kashmiri people\u2019s right to self-determination.<\/p>\n
Reaffirming continued support, he said the Kashmiri people\u2019s freedom movement will continue until its logical conclusion, and the APHC will keep representing their aspirations at every level.<\/p>\n
Participants of the meeting also expressed full solidarity with the people of Kashmir and endorsed Pakistan\u2019s principled stand on the dispute.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, on World Press Freedom Day, APHC-AJK chapter Information Secretary Mushtaq Ahmed Butt expressed serious concern over the deteriorating state of media in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He said journalism in the territory is going through one of its worst phases, with increasing pressure, restrictions and challenges faced by media professionals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
