New Delhi: A fresh order by the Indian Supreme Court on the defunct Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) scheme has raised serious questions over policy inconsistencies and administrative contradictions in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir\u2019s education sector.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Supreme Court has directed the authorities to issue appointment orders within eight weeks to candidates who were empanelled under the now-defunct ReT scheme. While the scheme was officially scrapped in 2018 and all pending selections were cancelled, the court has ruled that the rights of candidates already placed in select panels cannot be retrospectively denied, exposing ambiguity in the government\u2019s earlier decision.<\/p>\n
