New Delhi : Fresh incidents of violence in the Indian state of West Bengal following what the opposition describes as rigged assembly elections have once again exposed the fragile law and order situation, with clashes, killings and attacks on forces’ personnel reported from multiple districts.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, violent clashes erupted in Sandeshkhali where rival groups linked to the Trinamool Congress engaged in armed confrontation, leaving at least five Indian forces’ personnel injured.<\/p>\n
The clashes involved gunfire and crude bombs, creating panic in the area.<\/p>\n
In separate incidents, one worker each from the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Trinamool Congress were killed, highlighting the deadly nature of post-poll tensions.<\/p>\n
