He said that unemployment among educated youth has reached alarming levels while inflation and rising prices have hit middle-class and poor families hard. Bhalla said setbacks in the private sector and tourism have worsened the economic situation, with daily wagers and contractual employees protesting for regularization and pending wages.<\/p>\n<p>Criticizing civic infrastructure, he cited damaged roads, poor sanitation, water shortage, and unscheduled power cuts in urban and rural areas.
