Lucknow: Tension gripped Uttar Pradesh\u2019s Azamgarh district after the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) detained two Muslim youths over their alleged social media activity.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, ATS teams conducted sudden raids in different parts of the district and took the two men into custody for questioning.<\/p>\n

One of the detained youths has been identified as Mohammad Ahmad, a resident of Khudadadpur village in the Nizamabad area of Azamgarh. Reports said he was taken into custody from his building materials shop when the ATS team suddenly arrived.<\/p>\n

The second youth, identified as Azam Saifi, hails from Pathan Tola village under the Saraimir police station area.<\/p>\n

Both were later taken to Prayagraj for further interrogation.<\/p>\n

Authorities alleged that the detentions were linked to \u201csuspicious\u201d activities on social media. Investigators suspect possible contact with certain Pakistan-linked social media handles, although no official statement has been issued yet by the ATS or district administration so far.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
