\"\"Oslo: Norwegian journalist Helle Lyng, who recently made headlines for her critical questioning of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Norway, has said that her Facebook and Instagram accounts have been suspended.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, Lyng, a reporter with Oslo-based newspaper Dagsavisen, announced in a post on X that she was unable to access her Instagram account, which had been suspended, while her Facebook account had also been taken down.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you\u2019re trying to reach me on Instagram or Facebook, I would like to let you know I have been suspended from both accounts,\u201d she wrote, calling it \u201ca small price to pay for press freedom.\u201d She added that she has never experienced something like this before.<\/p>\n

Lyng came into the spotlight after questioning Modi on human rights issues during his Europe visit in Oslo. She had previously questioned India\u2019s Ministry of External Affairs on why the Prime Minister does not hold press conferences either in India or abroad.<\/p>\n
