\"\"Amritsar: An Aam Aadmi Party and Congress leaders were shot at and injured in two separate violence incidents in Punjab state of India.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, a local Aam Aadmi Party leader was shot at and injured in Indian city Amritsar today, after an argument with an Hindutva BJP man.<\/p>\n

The politician has been identified as Jaipal Singh Bau, who is in charge of the party’s Ward Number 42. The injured leader was rushed to a hospital and is undergoing treatment in a local hospital.<\/p>\n

Initial probe suggests that the motive behind the crime could be political enmity.<\/p>\n

In the recently concluded local polls, Bau contested on the AAP ticket from the Aam Aadmi Party in Ward Number 42.<\/p>\n

In another incident of violence, in Raikot, the Congress candidate Jagdev Singh Jagga from Ward No 4, of municipal corporations was attacked. He was critically injured in the attack and was immediately rushed to a local hospital. However, due to his precarious condition, doctors referred him to the DMC Hospital in Ludhiana.<\/p>\n
