Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference-Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter organized a special prayer meeting at its central office in Islamabad under the leadership of Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, the gathering expressed deep grief and concern over the loss of precious lives due to Indian state terrorism, targeted killings, and tragic incidents in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n
The participants strongly condemned the target killing of young Kashmiri Hamza Burhan in Muzaffarabad, describing it as a continuation of Indian secret networks and state-sponsored terrorism aimed at creating fear in Azad Kashmir. They demanded a transparent investigation and immediate exposure of those responsible.<\/p>\n
The meeting also recalled the tragic incident involving two innocent Kashmiri women, Aasiya and Neelofar, in Shopian, terming it a dark chapter in Kashmiri history and a blatant violation of women\u2019s dignity and human rights. Rich tributes were paid to the martyrs.<\/p>\n
The participants expressed profound sorrow over the passing of senior Kashmiri resistance leader and former IIOJK Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sheikh Muhammad Hassan, praising his lifelong services to the Kashmir cause. Special prayers were offered for his soul, the martyrs of Kashmir, Aasiya and Neelofar, Hamza Burhan, Hurriyat prisoners, and the oppressed Kashmiri people.<\/p>\n
Ghulam Muhammad Safi reiterated that the Kashmiri people remain steadfast in their struggle for the inalienable right to self-determination despite decades of military siege, human rights violations, extrajudicial killings, and repression. He called upon the United Nations, OIC, international human rights organizations, and justice-loving nations to take immediate notice of Indian atrocities and play their role in resolving the Kashmir dispute as per UN resolutions.<\/p>\n
The prayer meeting concluded with a renewed pledge to continue the Kashmir freedom struggle at all levels.<\/p>\n
The gathering was attended by senior Hurriyat leaders including Mahmood Ahmad Saghar, Syed Yusuf Naseem, Advocate Parvez Ahmad, Mir Tahir Masood, Altaf Hussain Wani, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob, Madam Shameem Shawl, Raja Khadim Hussain, Syed Ijaz Rahmani, Nisar Mirza, Syed Kifayat Rizvi, Javed Butt, Dawood Khan, Chaudhry Shaheen, Zahid Safi, Haji Muhammad Sultan, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Imtiaz Wani, Mian Muzaffar, Muhammad Shafi Dar, Abdul Majeed Lone, Sheikh Abdul Majeed, Manzoor Dar, Syed Gulshan, Nazir Karnahi, Adeel Mushtaq, Ashraf Dar, and Information Secretary Mushtaq Ahmad Butt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
