New Delhi,: In a fresh attempt to malign the rapidly growing Cockroach Janta Party, the Modi regime\u2019s police in Uttar Pradesh linked a local altercation to CJP after a doctor in Mau alleged assault for refusing to join the party.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, Dr Harishchandra Jaiswal claimed he was attacked at Majhwara Mod CHC by Rahul Yadav, who identified himself as a CJP member. Police immediately publicised the incident, framing it as \u201cCJP-related violence\u201d even as ASP Anoop Kumar confirmed a complaint was registered and probe was underway.<\/p>\n
Critics say the timing exposes the regime\u2019s nervousness over CJP\u2019s expanding support base.<\/p>\n
The defamation push coincided with a massive CJP protest at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, where thousands demanded Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan\u2019s resignation over exam irregularities. Instead of addressing public anger, the Modi government responded by deploying over 1,000 Delhi Police personnel, detaining six counter-protesters, and tightening security outside CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke\u2019s Maharashtra home.<\/p>\n
Police claimed \u201cpreventive\u201d action while denying any FIRs, yet amplified the Mau case in media to portray CJP as disruptive. Analysts note that as CJP\u2019s anti-corruption campaign gains traction from streets to social media, the Modi regime has resorted to selective FIRs, heavy security, and sensationalised incidents to intimidate supporters and dent the party\u2019s credibility ahead of key electoral battles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
