The June 2, 2026 EU\u2013Pakistan joint statement clearly mentioned Kashmir, while the May 26 China\u2013Pakistan joint statement also included political references to the territory and joint projects in the region.<\/p>\n<p>India objected to both and made hue and cry, calling them \u201cunwarranted\u201d and asserting that others have no \u201clocus standi\u201d to comment.<\/p>\n<p>Analysts said these reactions reflect frustration rather than diplomatic strength as India\u2019s objections are being increasingly ignored globally. The United States is also shifting its tone, with US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth calling ties with Pakistan a \u201ctrue friendship\u201d, signaling growing cooperation between Washington and Islamabad.<\/p>\n<p>Experts noted that India\u2019s demand to isolate Pakistan is not gaining support. In contrast, Pakistan is strengthening ties with major global powers and is engaging with the US, EU, and China simultaneously.
