The assault resulted in the destruction of houses and property within the village, forcing residents to flee for safety.<\/p>\n<p>KNA-B, Myanmar-based wing of the Kuki National Army, was founded in 1988 by P.S. Haokip under the Kuki National Organisation umbrella. After 2010, the group split into Indian and Burmese wings, with the Myanmar wing called KNA-B. KNA-B is active in Myanmar\u2019s Sagaing Region and Chin State, and also operates along the India-Myanmar border in Manipur, especially Kamjong district.<\/p>\n<p>KNFP is one of the factions of the Kuki National Front and it was formed on 18 May 1988 by Nehkholun Kipgen with the goal of a separate \u2018Kukiland\u2019 state for Kukis in Manipur. KNF founder Nehlun Kipgen was killed in a CRPF encounter.
