Mathura: Three Muslim men were humiliated and assaulted by Hindu extremists in Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-ruled Uttar Pradesh state.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, the three Muslim men were humiliated after self-styled Hindutva vigilantes falsely accused them of being involved in “meat smuggling.”<\/p>\n
The incident reportedly occurred when the Hindutva men intercepted the victims\u2019 vehicle and physically assaulted them in the Chhata area of Mathura.<\/p>\n

Such groups are often accused of patrolling highways, stopping vehicles and confronting people involved in livestock and food-related trades.<\/p>\n

Rights advocates and community members have urged the Uttar Pradesh Police to establish the facts, identify those responsible for the assault and ensure that appropriate legal action is taken.
