According to Kashmir Media Service, Nabila Irshad Advocate speaking on the occasion said the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir have been making unparalleled sacrifices for the past 78 years to achieve their freedom and right to self-determination. She said the Kashmiri people have endured martyrdom, hardships of imprisonment and sacrifices of honor and integrity, but their spirit of freedom has never diminished.<\/p>\n
She strongly condemned the sentencing of Hurriyat leaders in fake and baseless cases by Indian courts, terming it a clear violation of international laws and fundamental human rights and demanded that the international justice institutions and countries around the world take strict notice of it. She said that the so-called secular identity of India has been completely exposed by these steps.<\/p>\n
All Parties Hurriyat Conference Convener of the Ghulam Muhammad Safi thanked Advocate Nabila Irshad for her visit and said the issue of Jammu and Kashmir is not only the Kashmiris\u2019 issue but according to the decree of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan.<\/p>\n
He said in this context, the government of Pakistan, political parties, national institutions and the people should pay special attention to the Kashmir dispute.
\nGhulam Muhammad Safi said India has given rise to several bloody incidents in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and is now trying to change the population ratio of the territory with great speed.<\/p>\n
According to him, lakhs of non-state residents are being settled in the occupied territory, which is against the spirit of international laws and the United Nations resolutions.<\/p>\n
He further said the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has contacts with various political parties, institutions and national figures of Pakistan and the Hurriyat conference wants a unified national narrative to be adopted in Pakistan regarding the Kashmir dispute, which is based on the right of the Kashmiri people to self-determination as recognized in accordance with the United Nations resolutions.<\/p>\n
On this occasion, Nabila Irshad expressed concern over the recent situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and urged all parties concerned to exercise wisdom, restraint and understanding and find a peaceful, constitutional and dignified solution to the current issues.<\/p>\n
She said tension or instability cannot only affect the peace and stability of Azad Jammu and Kashmir but can also have negative impacts on the Kashmir freedom movement, public interests and the wider regional situation.<\/p>\n
The APHC-AJK also appealed to all parties concerned in the context of the current situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir to show patience, tolerance and responsibility and resolve the issues through dialogue, understanding and peaceful means.<\/p>\n
The Hurriyat Conference stressed that Azad Jammu and Kashmir is the base camp of the Kashmir freedom movement, therefore, it is very important to maintain peace, political stability and national unity here so that the Kashmir freedom movement does not face any negative impacts.

\nAt the end of the meeting, special prayers were also offered for the elevation of the ranks of the mother of Ashfaqullah Shawl, who passed away in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the martyrs of Kashmir and other deceased.<\/p>\n
