Jammu: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the government employees under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Government Employees Joint Action Committee have said that the administration is failing to fulfill commitments made to employees and pensioners, and demanded immediate resolution of their long-pending grievances.<\/p>\n

Addressing a joint press conference in Jammu, Committee Chairman Babu Hussain Malik, along with senior trade union leaders, expressed serious concern over \u201canti-employee policies and administrative indifference\u201d toward government workers.<\/p>\n

Malik said rising inflation, acute staff shortages, and delays in addressing legitimate demands have placed employees and pensioners under severe financial and professional stress. He said that failure to fill vacant posts has increased workload on existing staff, adversely affecting efficiency and employee well-being. The Committee presented an 11-point charter of demands and urged the IIOJK administration to take time-bound measures.<\/p>\n

EJAC warned that if the government fails to seriously consider and resolve these genuine demands, it will be compelled to announce its future course of action in the coming days.<\/p>\n

Senior members including Madan Sangral, Yash Paul Sharma, G.L. Channa, Meenakshi Sharma, Munish Sharma, Pawan Kumar, Bharat Bhushan, Jaswant Singh and Naresh Kumar were present at the press conference.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
