According to Kashmir Media Service, the case surfaced in Bijnor district, where authorities said village head Jagpal of Changipur orchestrated a plan to frame local Muslim leader Hasan by arranging the slaughter of a calf and projecting it as an act committed by him.<\/p>\n

Investigators said that Jagpal involved several individuals to execute the plot. The animal was reportedly taken to a field owned by Ramavatar, where the act was intended to be carried out.<\/p>\n

Police noted that one of the most striking aspects of the case is evidence suggesting that public outrage was mobilized even before the incident took place.<\/p>\n

Officials said Jagpal had brought members of local Hindutva groups together in advance and prepared for protests, leading investigators to conclude that both the act and the expected communal reaction were part of a pre-planned conspiracy.<\/p>\n

Police intervened after members of Hindutva groups assembled and attempted to protest over reports of cow slaughter, preventing further escalation. A subsequent investigation exposed the broader conspiracy and the political motive behind it.<\/p>\n

Authorities have arrested Jagpal, his brother Kiranpal, and several others in connection with the case, while the investigation remains ongoing.<\/p>\n
