New Delhi: A Muslim woman, Ruhi Khan, has said that she was subjected to communal abuse while travelling on a public bus in BJP ruled New Delhi.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, a Muslim woman, Ruhi Khan, has sai that she was subjected to communal abuse while travelling on a public bus after an argument with fellow passengers escalated into remarks targeting her religious identity.<\/p>\n
The incident began after a disagreement over getting off at a particular bus stop. The Muslim lady said that a woman and two male passengers verbally abused her during the altercation and repeatedly told her to \u201cgo to Pakistan.\u201d<\/p>\n
An undated video, said to have been recorded after the incident, has since gone viral on social media. In the clip, she said that the remarks were made solely because of her religious identity, prompting fresh debate over religious intolerance in public spaces.<\/p>\n
In the video circulating on social media, Khan is seen confronting the Hindu men after they allegedly tell her, \u201cWe\u2019ll send you to Pakistan.\u201d She can be heard responding, \u201cDo you have the guts to send me to Pakistan?\u201d<\/p>\n
The video has triggered strong reactions online, with many users urging authorities to investigate the matter and take legal action if the allegations are found to be true.<\/p>\n
Reacting to the video, journalist Karishma Aziz said that Muslim woman was harassed by a Hindu woman and two men whom she described as being associated with Hindutva ideology. \u201cLife has become difficult for Muslims in the country,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n
Another social media user questioned how long Muslims would continue to face such remarks during everyday disagreements.<\/p>\n
\u201cHow long will this language of \u201csending Muslims to Pakistan\u201d continue over every little thing? Has this hatred now become our everyday mindset?,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n
The incident has renewed conversations online about communal hostility and the use of \u201cgo to Pakistan\u201d as an insult directed at Indian Muslims.
