Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, National Conference MP from Srinagar, Syed Aga Ruhullah, has strongly condemned attempts to destabilise the Omar Abdullah-led government, stating that the BJP was trying to engineer defections through money.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, speaking to reporters in Shopian, Ruhullah said he was \u201ctotally against horse-trading\u201d despite having disagreements with the party.\u201cA few days ago, I said in an interview that I am against it. No matter how many disagreements I have with the party, I am totally against horse-trading,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Alleging that the BJP was luring legislators with money, the MP said, \u201cPeople from the party, from the government, on the basis of money, on the basis of the greed of the BJP, people should be left behind and horse-trading should take place, and this government should be broken. I am just as much against it.\u201d<\/p>\n
He asserted that the government must be given a full term. \u201cAny horse-trading is against democracy, is against this mandate. This government should be given the opportunity to fulfill its time,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Ruhullah said differences, if any, must be on principles, \u201cnot on the basis of what the BJP says, not on the greed of the BJP’s money, not because of the fear of the BJP.\u201d<\/p>\n
