Srinagar : Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti has expressed deep concern over the killing of a civilian by Indian forces in Doda district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), describing the incident as deeply disturbing and calling for a swift and impartial investigation to establish the facts and ensure accountability.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mehbooba Mufti, in a post on X, referred to reports stating that the civilian, Arif Hussain, was first stabbed and later shot dead by Indian forces.<\/p>\n
Describing the incident as “deeply disturbing”, she said the administration must act swiftly to ascertain the facts and ensure accountability.<\/p>\n
