It asked the ministry to finalise the date and communicate it to both LAB and Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA).<\/p>\n<p>The two bodies have finalised a joint response to nine questions raised by the Indian ministry on structure and functioning of the proposed Ladakh elected body.<\/p>\n<p>The LAB and KDA are seeking an elected institution with legislative, financial and executive powers along with constitutional safeguards for Ladakh&#8217;s land, culture, environment and natural resources on lines of Articles 371A, 371F and 371G.<\/p>\n<p>During September 09 meeting in New Delhi, Ladakh representatives were informed that the proposed body would have directly elected representatives.
