Blood donation camp held in memory of Ghani Lone

Srinagar, May 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference organized a blood donation camp at Sannat Nagar in Srinagar as part of its programme to commemorate the 15th martyrdom anniversary of prominent liberation leader, Abdul Ghani Lone.

More than 100 party activists and volunteers from different parts of Kashmir including Srinagar, Budgam, Baramulla and Kupwara donated blood at the camp organized by the party in collaboration with doctors of Bone and Joints Hospital, Barzulla.

Speaking on the occasion, Bilal Ghani Lone said that Abdul Ghani Lone stood for empowerment of poor and destitute throughout his life and always helped those in need.

“I believe that there could be no better way to pay homage to our visionary leader,” Bilal said. Bilal Lone said blood donation is a noble cause as it saves precious lives.
