Srinagar, May 16 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, several people including women were injured after Indian forces used brute force on protesters in Kulgam and Pattan areas, today.
Indian troops fired bullets on women who were protesting against Indian forces’ brutalities and thrashing of civilians during crackdown operation in Okay area of Kulgam.
On the other hand, Indian forces fired teargas shells on protesting students of the Government Higher Secondary School, Pattan. They took out a demonstration and marched on the streets in the town. As the protesting students raising pro-freedom and anti-India slogans reached the market Indian police and other paramilitary forces fired teargas shells on them triggering clashes.
Student community in Kashmir is holding protests since April 15 after over least 60 college students were injured in forces’ violent action at Pulwama Degree College.
