PanajI, May 22 (KMS): India’s former External Affairs Minister and Congress leader, Eduardo Faleiro has warned that failure in arriving at an early political settlement will plunge Kashmir into a major civil-war like in Iraq and Syria.
Eduardo Faleiro in a statement issued in Panaji said that India should immediately initiate dialogue with civil society and Kashmiri groups to bring normalcy in the Kashmir Valley.
Mr. Faleiro said about 10,000 people had been killed and injured in uprising in Kashmir and over 1,000 youths were in jail. “There have been innumerable human rights violations. The forces are the only visible face of India in Kashmir today. Legislators and the civil government are not to be seen.” Mr. Faleiro said.
Meanwhile, senior Janata Dal United (JD-U) leader Sharad Yadav, in a statement said the situation in the Kashmir valley had gone out of hand and the government was unable to control it.
“The situation in the Valley has become very serious and gone out of hand in the last three years. Bringing peace there now is very challenging. It is in the grip of militancy which had not been seen in the last 15 years. The government is unable to control it,” Yadav said.
He met leaders of the Congress and the Left parties, besides BJP’s Yashwant Sinha, who was part of a non- government delegation that had visited Kashmir, as part of efforts to organise a conference on the situation there.

You might have heard very old adage ” justice need to be done though the heaven fall”. If kashmir is inalienable part of India then why are you suggesting to prop up more vested groups in kashmir. It is because of Congress policy of appeasement that now a mafia kind of thing is generated in kashmir who want money just using the religious and anti India sentiments. Sir my humble suggestion is use appropriate force in kashmir so that no violated of law roam free in the valley.
All Islamist who are fighting to creat chaliphat must to killed , maimed , butchered what ever adjective you want to put , u can but they are not the part of great sufi history of kashmir.
