Srinagar, May 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, curfew and stringent restrictions continued in the Kashmir Valley on the third consecutive day, today, to prevent people from conducting a march towards Tral town.

Call for the march was given by the joint resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik to pay tributes to Hizbul Mujahideen commander, Sabzar Ahmad Butt, and other martyrs. All shops, business establishments and educational institutions were closed while traffic was off the road. Srinagar-Jammu highway was also closed for traffic in view of call for the march. Huge contingents of Indian police and troops were deployed across the Kashmir Valley to enforce restrictions. »

Srinagar, May 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, APHC General Secretary and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), Shabbir Ahmad Shah, has appealed people to take care of the victims of Indian state terrorism in the holy month of Ramadan.

Shabbir Ahmed Shah, who is under continued house arrest in Srinagar, in a statement issued said that these people sacrificed for the freedom movement and was the duty of Kashmiri people to take care of them. “Among these victims are our youth and those maimed and blinded by pellets, and the families of political prisoners including those who are languishing in Indian jails. We should not forget these people and should take initiatives in this regard,” he said. »

Srinagar, May 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik has paid glowing tributes to great Kashmiri martyr, Ishfaq Majeed Wani, who embraced martyrdom on the 3rd of Ramadhan in 1990.

Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued in Srinagar said, Wani was a youth icon and great son of soil who sacrificed his life for the sacred cause of Kashmir freedom. He said that the people of Kashmir would never forget the struggle and services of this great soul. »

Srinagar, May 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader and President of Anjuman Shari Shian, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, condemning Indian authorities for preventing the march towards Tal has said that such tactics cannot break the resolve of the freedom-loving people of Kashmir.

Srinagar, May 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has expressed concern over the threatening and intimidating statement of Indian Army Chief, Bipin Rawat in which he has advocated the use of military power against the peaceful protesters in the Kashmir Valley.

The JI in a statement issued in Srinagar said that General Rawat’s assertion was tantamount to give a free license to the army personnel to use power at their will against the Kashmiri people, thereby assuring them total exemption from any legal accountability. »

Says disturbance started in J&K after Indian occupation

Srinagar, May 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Dukhtaran-e-Millat has strongly denounced the recent provocative statement of Indian Army Chief, General Bipin Rawat, that Indian forces are in Kashmir to establish peace.

The DeM General Secretary, Nahida Nasreen in a statement issued in Srinagar said that disturbances had started in Jammu and Kashmir when Indian army landed in the territory in 1947. She said that peace was not possible in Kashmir or in South Asia as long as the Indian army continued to illegally occupy Jammu and Kashmir. »
