Srinagar, May 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Working President of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, Jahangir Ghani Butt has said that Kashmir is an internationally recognized dispute and yet to be settled according to the will of Kashmiri people.

Jahangir Ghani Butt addressing party activists in Sopore and Langate areas of North Kashmir said India should shun its hegemonic approach and take steps for the resolution of Kashmir dispute as it is directly linked to the peace and stability of the region. »

Srinagar, May 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, in total disregard to human dignity and values, Indian army Major, who tied a Kashmiri man to the bonnet of a jeep as a human shield, has been given a clean chit by the so-called Court of Inquiry (CoI).

No action has been recommended against the Major. Court martial is out of the question. Not even disciplinary action was recommended against the officer, India Today reported. »

Srinagar, May 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, an Indian soldier committed suicide at Uniform Force Headquarters in Reasi area of Jammu.

The 32-year old soldier used his service weapon and fatally shot himself. An FIR has been lodged in the Reasi Police Station and an investigation has been launched into the matter. »

Srinagar, May 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) has demanded immediate release of ailing party chairperson, Aasiya Andrabi and her personal secretary, Fehmeeda Sofi, who are in police custody since April 26.

DeM General Secretary, Nahida Nasreen in a statement in Srinagar said that it had been more than five days since the court had issued bail orders for Aasiya and her personal secretary. “But police, without any reason or case, is keeping them illegally detained at Rambagh police station,” she said and added that the party chairperson was in critical condition as she not only needed oxygen and sophisticated medical care but also a hygienic environment. “But it seems that the puppet regime is looking for excuses to keep her in custody,” she said. »

Srinagar, May 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference organized a blood donation camp at Sannat Nagar in Srinagar as part of its programme to commemorate the 15th martyrdom anniversary of prominent liberation leader, Abdul Ghani Lone.

More than 100 party activists and volunteers from different parts of Kashmir including Srinagar, Budgam, Baramulla and Kupwara donated blood at the camp organized by the party in collaboration with doctors of Bone and Joints Hospital, Barzulla. »
