Srinagar, June 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, thousands of people attended the funeral prayers of the two youth who were martyred by Indian troops during a crackdown operation in Nathipora area of Sopore, today.

As the news about the killing of the youth spread, thousands of people assembled in the native villages of the martyrs at Brath Kalan and Bomai in Sopore and participated in their funeral prayers. They raised high-pitched anti-India, pro-Pakistan and pro-freedom slogans. The martyrs were wrapped in Pakistani flags. Senior resistance leaders, Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik in their separate statements paid glowing tributes to the martyred youth. They said that due to the sacrifices of these martyrs the world had realized the urgency involved in the settlement of the Kashmir dispute. »

Srinagar, June 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown was observed in Tral town of Pulwama district for sixth consecutive day, today.

The shutdown started soon after the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander, Sabzar Ahmad Butt, in Saimoh area of the town on Saturday.

All shops and business establishments in the town remained closed while traffic was off the road.

Srinagar, June 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani has said that no talks are possible with India unless it accepts Jammu and Kashmir as a disputed territory.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement in Srinagar warned that Kashmir was passing through a crucial period where the lives, dignity, properties, faith, uniqueness and everything of the Kashmiri people was at stake. “Do or die situation has evolved for us. These forces won’t allow us to live free unless we follow their faith and change our outlook as per their dictates,” he said while refereeing to fanatical forces of India and their aggressive and rigid attitude. »

Srinagar, June 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops, in their continued acts of state terrorism, martyred twenty eight (28) Kashmiris during the last month of May.

According to the data issued by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, of those martyred three (3) were killed in different fake encounters.

The killings rendered nine (9) women widowed and thirty three (33) children orphaned. »

Muhammad Yusuf Tarigami addressing a press conference in Srinagar said that the statements being made (by Indian political and military leadership) for past few weeks were tantamount to the declaration of martial law in occupied Kashmir. »
