Srinagar, June 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik has said that the struggle for which highly educated Kashmiri youth are sacrificing their lives cannot be defeated or subjugated by tyranny, oppression, false propaganda and intimidations.

Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued in Srinagar termed the resistance movement of Kashmiris as an exemplary struggle. He said, “More the tyranny increases, nearer is its end and today what we are witnessing in Kashmir is increasing oppression and tyranny which means that its end is near now.”

The JKLF Chief said, that the increasing oppression by Indian forces is bound to get stiff resistance from the Kashmiris as history stands a witness to the fact that no people’s movement ever has been defeated or subjugated by military might or false propaganda. He said that today on one side, Indian forces and police had unleashed a reign of terror against Kashmiris and on the other, a vicious propaganda and intimidations were going on against resistance movement and leadership.

He said that the biased media of India had launched a campaign to defame and defeat the Kashmiris’ resistance movement against illegal Indian occupation.

Yasin Malik said that young and highly educated youth were rendering matchless sacrifices for the freedom of Kashmir. These youth have been tortured, humiliated, oppressed and hence pushed to the wall by Indian forces and today are compelled to sacrifice lives for truth and freedom, he added.

Paying rich tributes to the martyred youth of Sopore, the JKLF Chairman said that the sacrifices of the martyrs would never go in vain and no stone would be left unturned to take the scared movement to its logical end.

Condemning the ill-treatment meted out to the detainees in jails and police stations, he said that thousands of youth had been jailed by the so-called largest democracy and today in the holy month of Ramadan, police stations and jails were filled with Kashmiri prisoners who without the discrimination of age and gender were being terrorized.
