Solidarity expressed with bereaved families in IOK

Srinagar, June 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the General Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement (DPM) Khawaja Firdous Wani visited various bereaved families of youth martyred by Indian troops recently.

Khawaja Firdous Wani, paying tributes to Basharat Ahmad Sheikh and Ajaz Ahmad, said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not go waste.

He prayed Allah Almighty to give strength to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss with patience. He criticized Indian media for its malicious propaganda against the freedom movement and Hurriyet leadership saying that the media was following dictates from their masters but the misleading campaign would not prevent the people of Kashmir from continuing their struggle for securing their right to self-determination.

Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Employees Movement Chairman, Muhammad Shafi Lone in his statement in Srinagar expressed serious over the provocative remarks of Indian Army Chief, General Bipin Rawat. He said that the statement was not only condemnable but also a serious offence against the humanity and innocent Kashmiris.

General Rawat had wished that the Kashmiri protesters used arms instead of stones so that Indian army could find a chance to kill them.
