Srinagar, June 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani has said that Indian authorities, their agencies and particularly NIA is unnecessarily harassing Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leadership and its activists.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar, reacting sharply over raids conducted by Indian NIA said that they have been given the task just to drag and involve leadership into fabricated cases.

Condemning the raids he said that unfortunate aspect of this is that NIA during raids harass inmates and even ransack properties. “Leadership and party activists are being called and interrogated at JIC, Humhama. It is sheer vengeance and intimidation and all these coercive tactics won’t deter us from advocating just cause, he said.

He said that pro-freedom leadership and their families are harassed and terrorized and added that all the shameful attempts were revenge against the people of Kashmir and leadership would in no way dent their commitment.

Asking authorities to stop all these illogical and unjustified moves, Syed Ali Gilani said, “We will never surrender and all people from every corner including those from Jammu, Peer Panchal, valley Chenab are committed with freedom movement and state-sponsored hooliganism won’t let down their spirits and sentiments.”
