Srinagar, June 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred four Kashmiri youth in a fake encounter in Bandipore district, today.

The youth were killed during a joint action by Indian Central Reserve Police Force and police in Sumbal area of the district. The local people refuted the claim of police that the youth were shot dead after they attacked a CRPF camp. They said that the bodies of the martyrs were badly mutilated by the troops. »

Srinagar, June 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Joint resistance leadership has said that a scheduled meeting between leadership and members of business community was barred by the puppet regime through force, today.

The joint resistance leadership in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the APHC Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani continued to be under house arrest, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was once again put under house arrest and Mohammad Yasin Malik was arrested and lodged in Kothibagh sub jail. »

Islamabad, June 05 (KMS): APHC AJK chapter held a sit-in outside UN office in Islamabad to bring the world body’s attention towards Indian brutalities and crackdowns by Indian National Investigation Agency on Hurriyet leaders in occupied Kashmir.

The sit-in protest was staged by Mehmood Ahmad Saghar, Manzoor-ul-Haq Butt, Mir Tahir Masood, Malik Abdul Majeed, Abdul Majeed Mir, Raja Shaheen, Nisar Mirza, Sheikh Mateen Ahmad, Aijaz Rehmani, Ishtiaq Hameed, Sheikh Yaqoob, Engineer Mushtaq Mehmood and others. They urged the United Nations to intervene for settlement of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the world body’s resolutions. »

Srinagar, June 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Intense clashes erupted between protesters and Indian forces, today, in Sumbal area of Bandipora district against the killing of four youth by Indian troops.

The locals took to the streets and pelted stones on police and paramilitary forces deployed in the area to vent their anger against the killings. »

Srinagar, June 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a delegation of Kashmiri Pandits, today, called on the APHC General Secretary and the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Chairman, Shabbir Ahmad Shah at his residence in Srinagar.

The delegation was led by Chaman Lal and Mr Bhansi Lal. On the occasion, Shabbir Shah told them that both the people of Kashmir and the pro-freedom leadership were waiting for their return to the Valley as they were the indigenous inhabitants of the territory. »

Srinagar, June 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have put Syed Ali Gilani and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under house detention and arrested Muhammad Yasin Malik to prevent them from attending a joint resistance meeting, scheduled to be held in Srinagar, today.

The authorities barricaded the Hyderpora residence of Syed Ali Gilani, the venue for the meeting, to prevent anybody from going inside. Heavy contingent of police has been deployed outside the residence of the octogenarian leader. »

The Indian army man of 898 ASC Bn (AT) identified as Sarvanan T (32) of Indian city of Thirumangalakkottai, Tamil Nadu, committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan inside Army’s unit headquarters in the town. »

Er Rashid in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “Cops have unleashed a reign of terror in the entire Islamabad town and treat themselves beyond accountability. It is most condemnable that heavy shelling led to the damage of nearly one dozen shops and other establishments, he said.
