Srinagar, June 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a 12th class student was martyred and several youth were injured in the firing of Indian troops on peaceful protesters in Shopian district, this evening.

The student, Adil Ahmad Magrey, was killed while many youth sustained injuries at Ganowpora in the district when the troops opened fire on the demonstrators who were protesting against the siege and search operation launched by Indian forces’ personnel in the area. »

Srinagar, June 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, has said that Indian authorities are working on a new strategy to create an appalling situation in the territory to justify the use of lethal weapons against local population.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Kashmir was a political and human dispute and shelving it for long would further deteriorate the volatile situation in the South Asian region. He warned that the status quo on Kashmir would deteriorate the already charged atmosphere between Pakistan and India. Syed Ali Gilani asked India to shun rigid approach and fulfill its commitment with the people of Kashmir. »

Srinagar, June 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik, today, visited SMHS hospital in Srinagar and enquired about the health condition of a youth, Sameer Ahmad, who was hit by a police shell in Mattan area of Islamabad district, last month.

Muhammad Yasin Malik prayed for the early recovery of the innocent victim of Indian state terrorism. Sameer Ahmad is still on a ventilator in the hospital. »

Srinagar, June 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference has strongly condemned the continued house detention of resistance leaders Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and arrest of Muhammad Yasin Malik and other Hurriyet leaders in the territory.

The APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar said, these arbitrary measures and restrictions are unjustified and illogical. It said that by choking space and strangulating genuine voices, the authorities were creating anarchy in the territory. »

Srinagar, June 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik, has said that arrests, house arrests and other oppressive measures against resistance leadership are a glaring example of Kashmir being run under martial law.

While talking to media at his residence before his arrest, Muhammad Yasin Malik condemned the arrest spree and banning of a simple meeting and press conference by the joint resistance leadership, saying it has become a custom of the so-called rulers to suppress every voice before it is raised. He added that this suppression could not be termed anything but naked fascism and state terrorism. »

Addressing a joint press conference in Srinagar, the traders said that New Delhi and Mumbai based channels were deliberately running a vicious campaign against occupied Kashmir. »

Srinagar, June 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, has said that India’s insensitivity is the sole reason for unabated bloodshed in the territory as Indian forces’ personnel are mercilessly killing the Kashmiri youth on one pretext or the other.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Indian authorities wanted to create appalling situation in occupied Kashmir and they had set forth their strategy and were looking for excuses to create 90s like situation in Kashmir to justify the use of lethal weapons against unarmed and innocent youth. This arrogance, haughtiness and persistent denial can’t hold water for long and India must come to terms with the writing on the wall, he said. »

Srinagar, June 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the joint resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik has asked the people to stage peaceful demonstrations after Friday prayers on 9th June against the raids by Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA) on the residences and offices of Hurriyet leaders and activists.

The resistance leaders gave the call for the protests after the puppet authorities prevented them from holding a meeting on Monday with business leaders to discuss the raids. »
