Srinagar, June 09 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police arrested Hurriyet leaders, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and Qazi Ahmed Yasir, from Islamabad town, today, to prevent them from leading peaceful demonstrations against the killing of a 12th class student, Aadil Farooq Magray, and other youth by Indian troops.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the police took Mukhtar Ahmad Waza into custody when he tried to come out of his home. Later, he was put under house arrest in Kadipora area of the town.

The police arrested Qazi Ahmed Yasir from his residence at Qazi Mohallah in Islamabad town after Fajr prayers and lodged him at Sadr police station.
