Srinagar, June 11 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, panic gripped Srinagar’s commercial hub Lal Chowk when the personnel of Indian police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) conducted a sudden search operation in the area.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Nazir Ahmed, a street vendor at Ghanta Ghar (clock tower), told media that all of a sudden teams of police and CRPF appeared in Lal Chowk and started searching buildings. “Some pedestrians started running for safety as a word spread that encounter may start.” »

Srinagar, June 11 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani has said that Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA) was being used as a war weapon against Hurriyat leadership in the territory.

Syed Ali Gilani while chairing a meeting of the APHC executive body at his Hyderpora residence said, “NIA has no role and it is unjustified and illogical to drag it in Kashmir.” He said that the authorities were using this agency as a war weapon against leadership and to defame and discredit the freedom struggle. »
