Srinagar, June 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian Army personnel went on rampage in a village in Shopian district, this evening, injuring several people.

Residents of Narpora village of Shopian told mediamen that the army men ransacked houses and thrashed the people. They said that some children pelted few stones on an army patrolling party in the village. They said that soon after the incident army troops entered the village from all sides and started smashing whatever came in their way.

The locals said that several persons were injured in the army action. The troops also arrested some youth, they said.
