Srinagar, June 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) continued its mass contact programme as its Chairman and Hurriyet leader, Zafar Akbar Butt visited different areas of the Civil Lines in Srinagar and addressed political and social meetings.

Zafar Akbar Butt addressing public meetings said that people would never surrender before the anti-Kashmir and anti-movement policy of India but would continue freedom struggle till taking it to its logical end.

He also paid tributes to Islamic scholar and patron of Ummat-e-Islami Qazi Nisar on his 24th anniversary and said that he had played important role against Indian occupation.

He appealed to the world human rights bodies to give attention towards Kashmir and stop the human rights violations in the territory.

Meanwhile, Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir People’s League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, today visited the residence of Gulzar Ahmad Wani at Tapper in Pattan. Gulzar Ahmad Wani, who was acquitted of all charges in a fake case filed against him in 2001.
