Srinagar, June 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML) and Jamaat-e-Islami expressing serious concern over the plight of political detainees in jails have demanded their unconditional release.

The JKML spokesman, Sajjad Ayubi in a statement issued in Srinagar said that party Chairman, Masarrat Aalam Butt and other leaders including Mohammad Rafiq Ganai, Abdul Ahad Parra, Asadullah Parray, Tariq Ahmad Ganai and Khurshid Ahmad Lone had been languishing in jails and being treated inhumanly. »

Srinagar, June 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Ummat-e- Islami, Qazi Yasir has called for shutdown in south Kashmir on Monday to commemorate the 23rd martyrdom anniversary of his father and party founder, Qazi Nisar Ahmad.

Qazi Nisar Ahmad, a popular religious and political leader was killed by unidentified gunmen at Dialgam village near Islamabad town on June 19, 1994. »

Srinagar, June 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) has condemned thrashing of a doctor by a police officer at SMHS hospital in Srinagar.

The DAK President, Dr Nisar-ul-Hassan in a statement in Srinagar said, “This act of hooliganism against medical staff while discharging his professional duties is unacceptable.” »
