Srinagar, June 17 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, tens of thousands of people participated in the funeral prayers of martyred youth, Junaid Mattoo, Nasir Wani and Aadil Mushtaq in the territory, today.

Tens of thousands of people participated in the funeral prayers of Junaid Mattoo in Islamabad district. At least four funerals were held for Junaid Mattoo at a local Eidgah in Khudwani area of the district as mourners continued to pour in from various parts of south Kashmir. The mourners raised high-pitched pro-freedom and anti-India slogans.

Thousands of people attended the multiple funeral prayers held for Nasir Wani at Heff in Shopian and for Aadil Mushtaq at Frestbal in Pampore. They were laid to rest after being shrouded in Pakistani flag.

Junaid Mattoo, Nasir Wani and Aadil Mushtaq were martyred by Indian troops during a violent military operation in Arwani area of Kulgam district yesterday.

Two civilians, Muhammad Ashraf and Ahsan Dar, were also killed in the indiscriminate firing of Indian forces on the demonstrators who were protesting against the military operation in the area, yesterday.
