IOK authorities impose curfew in Pampore 2 injured as army vehicle hits motorcycle » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, June 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the puppet authorities imposed curfew in Pampore area of Pulwama district, today, to prevent people from visiting the family of martyred youth, Aadil Mushtaq Mir, who was recently martyred by Indian troops.

Body of Aadil Mushtaq was recovered from the debris of a house destroyed by the troops during a military operation in Kulgam on Saturday.

Defying curfew and other restrictions Hurriyet leaders including Yasmeen Raja, Nahida Nasreen and people from adjoining areas participated in the Rasm-e-Chaharum of the martyred youth. Anti-India and pro-freedom slogans were raised on the occasion. APHC leader, Muhammad Ramzan Khan also visited the family members of the martyred youth and expressed solidarity with them.

Meanwhile, two persons were injured, one of them critically, after an Indian army vehicle hit a motorcycle in Chakloo village of Rafiabad in Baramulla district, today. The critically injured person identified as Asif Ahmad Lone of Nadihal Rafiabad was shifted to a hospital in Srinagar for treatment.

The situation in Nadihal and its adjoining areas was tense following the incident.

On the other hand, residents of Saidpora Payeen of Shopian district held protests and blocked main road against the vandalizing of property and beating of locals by Indian army and paramilitary personnel in the area. The locals said that when people were heading towards masajid at the time of Iftaar, last evening, the troops entered the village and damaged household goods and parked vehicles.
