Srinagar, June 21 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Khawateen Markaz has strongly condemned the brazen act of Indian state terrorism on participants of a prayer session in Pampore area of Pulwama district.

The prayer session was organized by MKM Chairperson, Yasmeen Raja, for the departed soul of martyr Aadil Mushtaq at his residence in Fristabal area of Pampore. Aadil Mushtaq was recently martyred by Indian troops during a military operation at Arwani in Kulgam. People from different shades including pro-freedom leaders Shabbir Ahmad Dar, Imtiyaz Reshi and Muhammad Ahsan Unto attended the function.

The prayer session was in progress when Indian troops barged into the house and started beating the participants. Muslim Khawateen Markaz in its statement strongly condemned the act and said that India had widened its war against the Kashmiri people.

Yasmeen Raja appealed to the international community to take note of the grave situation in occupied Kashmir and intervene to save the Kashmiri people from Indian oppression and brutality.

The MKM condemned raids on the residence of party Chairperson Yasmeen Raja and said that such acts could not stop her from raising voice for the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.

Meanwhile, delegations of Tehreek-e-Hurriyet and Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement visited the families of the martyred youth, Aadil Mushtaq and Junaid Mir in Pampore and expressed solidarity with them. The delegations comprised Ghulam Nabi Sumjhi, Muhammad Yousuf Makroo, Maulvi Bashir Irfani, Prince Saleem, Abdur Rasheed Lone and Zahid Ahmad.
