Srinagar, June 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police arrested Hurriyet leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL), Mukhtar Ahmad Waza in Islamabad town, today, and shifted him to Sharbagh police station.

Mukhtar Ahmad Waza was schedule to address a peaceful protest rally in Lal Chowk, Islamabad, on the occasion of Youmi Quds and Youmi Kashmir.

The JKPL spokesman in a statement in Srinagar condemned the police action and said that by detaining Mukhtar Waza-like peace-loving people, the largest democracy of the world had exposed itself.
